Question:

Does anybody remember a children's toy called Omangles? They were large different colored pipes and connectors

They were rather large. The pipes/tubes were yellow, the connectors were red, green, and blue and came in shapes of tubes, elbows, and T's. There were also orange and yellow panels to make walls and floors. All these were held together by multi-colored C clips. They were popular in the late 80s. I can't find any information or pictures anywhere, and I would like to reacquire these toys.

Thanks!

  1. Yes!  I had those growing up actually, but they don't make them anywhere that I have been able to find recently.  Now that I have kids of my own, my mom actually ordered a set from Belgium.  I have since tried to get more, but it seems as if they have been discontinued there as well.  I'm very surprised by this since they were such a great toy.  My son and nephew never tire of them.
