Does anybody remember the Crystal Pepsi?

What did or didn't you like about it?

Yeah... it was clear!

At that time, there was an emphasis on "pure" products such as bottled water.  Clear was seen as being more pure (at least by marketing and advertisers).  Pepsi is naturally clear anyway, they add the brown color.

I remember expecting it to taste different (like sprite or 7up), but it tasted exactly like regular pepsi.  Once that 2 liter bottle was gone, the novelty had worn off, and I never bought it again.  I think it cost MORE than regular pepsi if I remember correctly.  Apparently nobody else bought it again, either.  They didn't make it very long.

They still sell it in Mexico.

I thought that it was neat but I definitly wouldn't buy it again because it's very bitter (to me) and has a lot fizz and the first thing you taste is soda water XP So it's gross, lol.

Clear pepsi came out in 92-93 it started off tasting exactly like regular pepsi.. but  a few months later, they brought it back tasting like a citrus soda, however because of the "new citrus drinks, so sales fell quickly due to that.

IT was super good and fun though :)

Now do you remember orbitz the one with the jello balls in it :P

I remember it, I thought it was cool at the time because it was clear and tasted the same.
