Highball's comment about nasty toilets brought back some awful memories. Just curious if any railroad other than the UP used them?

Absolutely the worst stench ever, wow.

added: yahoo suggested I place this in "wine, beer, and spirits", those things would indeed drive a person to drink lol

  1. One guy told me about incinolets on CN, and the idea of it just horrifies me. But on the other side of the coin, an ex-Con told me that on some of their assignments, when the locomotive was known not to have a working toilet, they were expected to do their thing in a bag and turn it in to a superior. Pulling my leg? Certainly possible.

  2. Well I remember growing  up at my house back in Pa. It didn't have indoor plumbing, and take about stench, it was enough to make you puke in the morning or on a hot summers day!

Maybe there are other railroads out there that do use them. God Bless those fine men % wemen who have had there rumps placed apond them. :o)

  3. Oh, yeah.

Some SP locos had 'em, too.  Naaaaasty.  Nothin' worked better 'n the old hole in the floor found on the old jeeps and SD9's.

Same guy who thought 'em up musta been the same guy that put a crank on a hand brake...  wheel's been around for a few years, and HE was making an improvement?
