  1. It seems that way.  there is not body to really beat them except themselves.  The only way they lose is if they give the games away and we all know they can but I done believe they will this time especially if they don't have to meet before the finals.

  2. yea, they are both very good players and are doing well this year.  Serena and Venus both showed that in their last games.  They both hit the ball well and serve well.  I hope Serena Williams wins because she is a great player and has really improved.

  3. Could be - she's rockin' 'em good so far!

  4. Venus Williams~yes. her serves are good for grass courts (got that from the ppl that comment on the playing). and she is fast and young.

Serena~not sure. she had an injury and i was watching her math today and she missing quite a few shots. she also isn't a fast runner. her serves don't work for grass courts (i got that from the ppl that comment on the playing).

  5. Yeh! I kinda Hope it is.. :)

  6. It would be surprising if there wasn't. There is a chance that Dementieva might win if Venus completely implodes, but Serena has a sure place in the final.

  7. I hope not. They are too noisy. I would have to turn the sound down or listen on the radio.

  8. since sharapova and ivanovic are out, i'd say probably.

  9. It seems inevitable now. Although I'd rather not see an all Williams' final, I can't deny that the two produce some great tennis and it'll be an interesting one to watch. Also, I've never seen them play each other before so I'm interested to see how they treat each other on court.

However, I wouldn't count Zheng or Dementieva out yet. Zheng has nothing to lose so who knows how that one will go? And when Elena's game is on, she's a great counter puncher and could really push Serena.

I think an all Williams' final is probably on the cards but I'm not prepared to write the other two women off yet. It's going to be an interesting last two rounds for the women's draw.

However, I'm a bit annoyed that a draw that could have been quite... intriguing, has been rather less than that. With Sharapova, Ivanovic, Jankovic and Kuznetsova all losing early, there were great chances for some of the unknown players to spring out of nowhere and shock us, but I think it's pretty obvious that we'll see another Williams on the trophy.
