" For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son"

September 2008

Dear Mr.

I hope today finds you well and walking in the spirit of brotherhood. The Reverend Billy Sol Hargas has asked that we reach out to you and ask that you lend a hand in our Ministries. I have a great favor to seek of you but first I must ask that you meditate and reflect on the importance of what we ask.

As I am sure you know , from watching Billy Sol work miracles for the lord, he cannot work alone. We have a vast Army of testifiers to his good deeds. In fact when Billy Sol goes out into the field of deliverance he brings along some examples of the very scourges he is praying to the lord to heal.

Now I am sure you can remember seeing our Brother "Jim" (may he rest in peace finally). Jim was best described as a prime warning of the plague of the devil "Alcohol". Many called Jim a drunken "Sot". Billy Sol used to bring Jim out onto the stage and show the non believers what pestilence and excessive drinking could do to a poor creature. In his final days it was necessary to allow Jim to carry his bottle out on the platform just to keep him around as a example.

The sad truth is that we now have lost the battle with Jim and he has gone over to meet his maker. We are therefore in a quandary. We have formed a search committee to find a replacement for Jim. It was in the course of our work that your name was proposed. I am writing to you to ask that you consider giving up the worthless life you are living and join our efforts for the Lord. The position does not pay very well but we feel we can offer a few months more existence to someone who has fallen as far as you have.

Please answer our call and help us in our work.

Thank You

B. Boots ( Chmn, Search comm.)
