Why arent people protesting in masses. If every person didnt go to work for the rest of the week then the war would probably stop.

  1. Your parents were hippies in the 60's, weren't they? Nothing wrong w/that but your Q is a line right out of 1968-69.I'd be keenly interesed in hearing about them today.

  2. all of us not going to work for the rest of the week will not put and end to the war

it would be noce if the solution were that simple but thats a pipe dream

as far as dropping out, I am rather happy being a productive member of society rather than a drag on society

and protesting never did any good and it never will

  3. groovy dude, very groovy, hold down, it's beginning to hit me, wow!

  4. Hard to pull them away from their boob tubes. Like lab monkeys they are.

  5. to which i ask dude: protest what? the iraq war? there is no draft to force you to fight there. it's a voluntary army now. for social equality, we already have civil rights. as for people not going to work. it might stop the war it might not, but someone is going to pay the bills. how's going to pay them? You? would you do it? times are different dude. too much to do to little time

  6. while i doubt that would stop the war but it would sent a strong message about the anger that we have

not voting for republican or Democrat would send the same message though and so would voting for ron Paul
