  1. they have different numbers........like the depth of vision is different for both .....i dont know why.......

  2. I wear glasses and my doctor said I have to wait until I'm older to get contacts! (13)

  3. hi , i wear both contact and glasses .

my prescription for my contact - 3.75 . i know it is big but i dont know about my glasses

my friend use both like me but her prescription are different and the two eyes are different too.

i suggest you get an exam , it is different for everyone .

yes , contact is right in front of the eye when glasses have a space from the eye and the glasses. get an exam , ok?

  4. I dont know the difference...

cause I just had my eyes checked a few days back, and the prescription was the same for both my contacts and my classes

  5. I wear both but honestly I don't know my prescription for either.  I would assume the same, with the only difference being the eye measurements they do to fit the contacts.

  6. Rx's for glasses and contacts are different for several reasons. One is that the contacts sit on your eye and your glasses are further away. This is called vertex distance. It is figured into the prescription to take into account how far a lens is away form the eye. Some contacts are fit also taking your tear layer into account. Another thing is that base curves and diameters are also prescribed for a person individually because we all have different measurements on the surface of our cornea. So, you just can not and should not try to get contacts with a glasses rx. Some people try to, and it is goofy because you can get hurt by wearing the wrong thing. I see it all the time. So, you need to have your doctor fit you for the contacts and get a correct Rx for them from the office. It is the best for your health and future vision.

  7. Hey rose lover are you 13? I am and i want contacts or do i hav to be older? XD

  8. Go to your eye doctor and ask.

Because you also have to  worry about things like base curve and stuff.

Also I know that the contact prescription will be less because they are closer to your eye.
