Does anyone Know how to clean a Go kart Carburetor?

My friend wants to charge me more if he has to clean it.

if you want to do it yourself,get a can of carb. clnr.,take the breather off and while the motor is running spray alittle in the carb. it will die down but spray alittle at a time throttle the eng up alittle and repeat.

get ya a can of carb cleaner take of filter while engine is running spray carb cleaner into carb while pressing on the gas if it doesnt run you will have to take off the float under your carb this is were carbs usually s***w up the float hangs up usually from leaving fuel in carb over winter without any winterizer additive dumped into fuel or fuel stabilizer the old fuel that dint burn sits in carb and evaporates from sitting and the fuel deposits gum up and freeze all the parts together there isnt to mutch to a carb other than the nedles were you adjust air and fuel mixture you can also take them out and spay carb cleaner in them it may be neccacery to let it soak take carb off engine and soak in a cleaner dont touch nothing else but the bollts that bolt it to the engine and filter off once you let it soak awhile if you have a air compressor blew it out if you mess with the s***w a good base line to start is mark the screws and see how many turns they take to come out and do same manty turns to replace them once engine is running you can fine tune it if you can while driving cart you can adjust the screws to leen out the carb for top speed air fuel ratio  i ussually turn all the way in the turn out about 2 turns if you get lost on the removel count if you need any advice dont hesitate to e-mail me i will try and help ya ALL I CAN GOOD LUCK HAPPY MOTORING I STARTED MY RACING CAREER IN GO-KARTS THEY ARE FUN OH AND ANOTHER THING YOUR FRIEND ISNT  A REAL FRIEND IF HE WANT S TO CHARGE YOU TELL HIM GET LOST
