  1. Which country is this place in ?

  2. On ancestry.com, just leave the area where it says "All Countries" as is because they do not list Mexico otherwise, even though their results will show Mexico. I'm really NOT talking in circles even if it is after 1 a.m. here, but what I mean is, do it like this: (EXAMPLE)

Juan Garcia (in the first/last names area)

            Born:  1893   All Countries

Died: 1970    All Countries        (click the orange Search button); new page opens up with x-number of people named "Juan Garcia" with those dates or "abt.1893"--"Mexico City,  (district name), Mexico".

www.familysearch.org DOES list Mexico in its list of countries.

(If you need more help, my email is in my profile, and I'd be glad to look it up for you.)

  3. Hi -

I'm guessing you are looking for specific death records in Atoyac...  there are some records at www.familysearch.org for Atoyac, Guadalajara, and other cities in Jalisco.

You might consider posting a message at this site:  http://boards.ancestry.com/SearchResults...

I think you'll enjoy these sites too, which will connect you with genealogists who have an interest in Jalisco (and many who live there):
