Does anyone actually ever RECEIVE scholarships from fastweb.com or its participants??

Question

I need money for school, but I don't qualify for private loans (recent bankruptcy) and I don't qualify for pell grants. My current school only does grants and scholarships...Just curious as to whether fastweb.com is worth the time?

Have you tried Scholarships.com? I was reading some of the testimonials and got some great tips from students who actually won scholarships. http://www.scholarships.com/testimonials...

Some of the students won a bunch of small scholarships.  So once you add them up, it can equal the tuition for one or two semesters!

I take it you're in the health field (nurseemdee). I saw that Scholarships.com has a College Health Scholarship that they are offering. Not sure when the application period opens but you should look into it. You just need to be a member of Scholarships.com and submit a short essay online. Pretty simple.

It's not a scam, just difficult.  If one of them sounds like something that you could do well on, give it a shot.

fastweb.com is a waste of time. I applied for that and many like it. Basically, their scholarships have about 100,000 people enter them and it's barely worth your time. In the end it turns into spam of your inbox that you can't get rid of. As a new college freshemen, I'm telling you not to sign up for it.!!!!

i know they give out scholarships but i don't know who really ever got any. my sister applied for literally like  fifty of them. didn't get a single one. and she is smart, well rounded, and fit for any school.

Hello how are you? Fastweb is really legit it is one of the few free scholarship searches available online. I was just talking about fastweb today with a coworker who just won a scholarship from registering and applying with a source from fastweb. Check out Scholarship Support they have 2 free scholarship searches. Good Luck I hope this helps you.
