  1. Its shareholders own it

  2. its a \PLC, the shareholders own it.

  3. If you are a really cheesed of BT customer, I can tell you about a much better company, one that I switched to 9 years ago.

The service provider that I use actually has people you can speak to and who really do help if there is a problem.

Email me if you would like more info but make sure I can get back to you too.

  4. You really are daft. The British own  " BRITISH TELECOM" The clue is in the title. ( soz for gerrin personal ) hehe

  5. you can talk to bt and bt managers, i work for them and we are answering calls, there is over 200 adviser's on line in my centre alone plus 20 managers

  6. BT are a Public Limited company, mainly owned by pension funds, but also have a large private share holding.

If you are not receiving the service you want, in the 1st instance ask to speak to a manager who will deal with the call. If you still cannot get to where you want ask to lodge a formal complaint, this will not be dealt with on the phone but will be dealt with offline.

BT also have a chairman's office that you can write too, whist the chairman himself is unlikely to reply you will get some reaction.

    Hope this helps

  7. BT is a Public Limited Company, owned by shareholders.

BT's Chief Executive is called Ben Verwaayen.

Clearly it would be impractical for Mr. Verwaayen to deal with every customer query, given that BT has millions of customer contact episodes every year.

    For personal attention, or the attention of his office, perhaps you should try writing to him at BT's registered office which is;

    BT Group plc,

    BT Centre,

    81 Newgate Street,

    London EC1A 7AJ

I would advise running your letter through a spell-checker before you send it.

  8. Yes, shareholders....
