Does anyone actually think global warming is harmfull?

Yes global warming has been proven (for all you people who say its bs). But temperatures have only risen a small amount in the last 70 years! So yeah its real but can it harm us? (Also i do not think the polar ice caps are melting because of the warming).

the planet is doing what it does..were just along for the ride..

and yea it has been proven..so was the global cooling proven in the 70s ..o and reminder..remeber when the ice age wiped out the dinosaurs?...yea well the planet will probly get hotter and itll probly eventually have an ice age again....o also they have discovered that the ocean temps effect the glaciers much more then the air temp...and the ocean temp has not gone up...i think i should get into politics and do some scare mongering...maybe that the ozone is falling on us..i could raise taxes and be rich and say u can only ride yer bikes while i ride around in my 100 foot ford excursion limo...o wait..im a chevy guy

The arctic is showing definite sings of melting, regardless of the just gone cold winter. Regarding the Antarctic, a number of deniers have been posting the linked image showing the continent in blue (cooler than usual) and the sea surrounding it in red (warmer than usual) to prove it is getting colder there, a warmer sea means faster melt near the coast regardless of increased snow fall in Antarctica.

Nope. A lot of the reason the climate is warming at all is because of the fact that we're coming out of a little ice age so truely the climate is stablizing. Besides Carbon Dioxide is good for plants because they thrive off of it, the way we thrive off of oxygen. So it's all good.

Besides soon people will start on the rampage of global cooling. Keep it warming up! It's been a long winter...

Global Warming completely fake. Al Gore says it is real because number 1 he is a jerk & number 2 he wants money and control. Their is heating but its not man made its just a natural stage the earth is going through. Global cooling would be much more harmful. Higher temperatures and more CO2, promote more plant growth, which means more food for us. The Earth would be able to support more life with higher temperatures and more CO2.

Humans may have to adapt to new conditions, but life has had to adapt to a changing environment since the beginning of time.

I live in the Midwest and we could use a little warming here. Snow, ice, and frigid temps here. I don't think it is real. I think it is just another way to suck more taxes from over taxed Americans.

Well actually there is quite a bit more industry than there was 70 years ago.  We've gone up about 1 degree in 100 years.  Look at China, India, Mexico, Malaysia, all the other new players.  How long do you think the next degree will take?  And the next.  Two more than the one we already have and we're in serious trouble.  I know it doesn't seem like it, but that's the deal.

You are right the earth is warming up. But it is not our fault. Again; It's not our fault! You have to be a complete idiot to think man can destroy earth. Global warming has been proven, not man made global warming.

Reasonable people realize that warmer temps provide more benefits than harm. Only the Al Gombies believe we are all going to die from it (and those brain surgeons people refer to as Main Stream Media journalist.)

Funny when the Medieval warm period hit, the human race flourished and population levels increased. Maybe that is the problem. The same people who whined and cried about the "Human Population Bomb" are the same people whining and crying about AGW.
