  1. I watch South Park and I want to learn Irish to do well in my Leaving Cert

  2. I find myself watching Ros na Rún now and again, I'm in no way, shape or form a fluent speaker, lucky they have the subtitles! =]

  3. I don't but I know that people in the Gaeltacht do.

I have a friend from the Gaeltacht (Spideal in Galway) and she watches that a lot and so did I before my leaving cert it came in handy for the oral/aural. I used to watch an Aimsir (The weather), The news and sometimes Rós na Rún.

    = )

  4. The occasional documentary, but for the most part it's pretty sub-par so I don't bother.

  5. Well i don't and ive yet to meet someone who has. I think their programmes are rubbish and its just a feeble attempt at keeping the Irish language alive. And lets face it,who likes the Irish language. Its all backwards and too much emphasis was placed on it in school and they made it a chore rather than fun. So, no, i definitely dont watch any tripe on TG4.

  6. eh no but i think it is a good idea becasue at least it is keeping the irish language alive

  7. I used to watch Paisean Faisean because I thought it was entertaining! I don't understand Irish but I read the subtitles.

  8. nope i don't watch tg4 their programs are really bad and following the subtitles annoys me while having to listen to irish, that language goes through my head.

  9. Ha, I used to watch Paisean Faisean too, for the laugh. That was about it, although we watched Ros na Run (sorry, can't put a fada in) when I was in school the odd time. Oh, and I watched Spiderman once, although I think it was Spiderfear...

  10. I watch Fíorscéal and Southpark i used to watch Paisean Faisean because its hilarious. They dont have alot of good programmes though.

  11. i watch tg4 and find it very good

  12. people in the gealtacht watch it and its handy for the oral leaving and junior cert some people could watch it to hear the irish language and theres the occasional english show on it like pimp my ride sweet 16 etc
