Does anyone agree that last night was a crazy night for questions and answers?

The only thing I saw that was crazy(it wasn't even on this board)

was my husband got a violation notice for mixing a slight insult into one of his answers but then when he posted a question someone posted an answer that said "Go back to Africa you GD monkey. Quit poisoning us with your filthy culture. I swear to God if I were to ever see your mutt children or your filthy wh*re wife I'd take them out back and beat them within an inch of there lives and then I'd show you wife what it's like to be with a real man and not some rabid A** n-word"

All and all, I'd say after hearing about Jon and then reading that this morning, most people must have had a bad night.

edit: ehhh yeah, but anymore stuff like that doesn't bother me. I just found it a tad bit interesting because one I'm not sure why I was even brought up(my husband didn't mention me) and I'm not sure how he knew I was white and having children. I dunno it was crazy weird.

jon has a bit of a "thing" about people who don't think like him. This includes anyone who follows a religion or ideology. I said last night that I looked down on religion, but what I didn't say is that I don't look down on people who espouse it (just like someone can disdain the war without disdaining the troops); everyone deserves to worship as they like without being told how to think.

I have to say I wasn't on last night and I am proud as looking at your questions some of you were here all day and all night.  Although I love to debate I only do this during the day in between doing actual things in real life.  It is sad to think that some of you are here 24/7 as if it is an addiction.

Edit - sorry to be a bore, but could we possibly get off the 'we hate jonmcn' fan club?  He's entitled to his opinion like everyone else, and as much as he can be bossy, he is usually correct when it comes to scientific facts and I rarely see him making the outrageously misogynistic statements that I see from some posters in here :-)

Yeah, Jon can get a bit extreme.  Religion is not the only thing he'll argue for.  I, too, think Rebel stood his ground and did very well.  I don't agree with insulting other members and I don't agree with Jon's practice of using insults while arguing.  If he really is a professor, it shows a lack of professionalism.  However, he had a right to his opinions--if only he would understand that we have a right to ours.

EDIT-- Sorry, Jon, but even you can't PROVE that there isn't a higher power.  There is NO evidence that proves a higher power does NOT exists.  Granted, there is no evidence that one DOES exist, but it is only your OPINION that there is no god while it is my opinion that there is a god(dess).  One would think all your education would have taught you that.

he hates a lot of things....I havn't figured him out.  but he is on my list of people I want a psychological report on.

I agree that you, Rebel Man, Baba Yaga, Woe Is Me and the rest of the GWS garbage are not only crazy, but need taking out. The stench is terrific!

That's just Jon for ya. Instead of debating back and explaining his reasoning, he insults people and talks down upon people and is obviously very conceited. I have had debates with him before, but I figured out very quickly that I was just wasting my time, because even with my articles and evidence, he didn't even want to read it or ignored it after his dissing of my views. It's like talking to a brick wall with him. I kind of feel bad in a way, because he is so serious, even for things that are supposed to be lighthearted, everything is strictly science and nothing else.

He never says anything funny or jokes, everything is so serious with him. And he always talks about science related things 24/7, like science is literally his life and nothing else. Well the insults from jon to Woe is Me is something I expected, since Jon and Woe is Me have been bitter rivals for a while and don't like each other for whatever reason, even though Woe is Me has her ways too. Basically those two have history apparently, but I think deep down inside it's sexual tension between the two really that they disguise with their arguments, or maybe it's their way of foreplay? I'm kind of guilty last night too though, lol.

Edit-Wow Double b***s, ***? sounds raunchy and intriguing, the more the merrier *silly smirk*. Pink elephant? What is that? That's not referring to a particular part is it? Quite an interesting name, forget the other names for that part, I think I'm going to have to use this name from now on.

Jon is not completely correct, human behaviour is too complex to make a conclusive statment. Science helps builds theories that a supported from evidence. The problem is that biology is like the fundementals, it is the base, but there are so many other aspects that shape human behavior. the problem is not that he believe biology to having an effect on men's and women's actions, but that is is everything and everything else is nothing, or basically a very exclusive view point or close minded.

Edit: Jon called me a boob, lol. I guess I was wrong and Jon does have a sense of humor. Anywhoo, I do have examples and such, but you don't respond or listen to others even when they have counter evidence or questions against your theories, so why waste the time, when you are like this anyway?

One other thing after reading some posts. Why do people care about how others live their lives personally and name calling of people's husbands and such? What is this all about?

Oh my goodness, Kiki! It was sad...everyone must have been PMSing last night, especially Jon. Read my questions from last night. They are private on my profile, but if you go back a few pages on the list of questions you'll see a few of mine. I think they were either about Christians and Evolution.
