Does anyone agree with me that Joe cole is the most "complete" Player I hope he becomes Englands captain one day his football brain is the best ive seen

Hes a great player and probably one of the best English players no doubt.. But i think that title belongs the Michael Essien..

No. I've never really thought much of him to be honest. He's a decent player for the top flight but not exactly world class. The fact that he is a regular in the England squad to me proves how poor they are in some positions, although it's undeniable that Capello is spoilt for choice in other areas.

LOL, you sound like my cousin only he argues that Gerrard and Torres are the most complete footballers. I disagree with both you and my cousin. If any of them were so complete, they'd be playing for the best club. Also they all have their flaws, but I'll admit that Joe Cole is good, but not on the level of let's say Zidane.

"we got Joe Cole" was one of the most absurd statements i have ever heard until this new one.Joe Cole is rubbish,he is a player not good enough to specialise in any position. never mind him being a complete player,how about one who can play a position.HE IS ANOTHER JAMMY REDNAPP ie pure c**p.

He gets on my nerves at times, but I need to see him play for another season or two mate - before I can say that about him.

The most complete player in the past was Roy Keane, and im a bleeding Liverpool F.C fan - but its true.

however,  Joe Cole has years to grow into and mature as a player so we've yet to see more of him.

Having read and THOUGHT about your question....and having remembered how some of his performances were match influencing/winning ones for Chelsea,   I've gotta admit he does in a way have a lot in his arsenal - hes a great player no doubt about it, instead of lampard they ought to play HIM beside Gerrard.

Don't know if I would call him the most complete but he is definitely a great player and as someone already stated, one of the best English players for sure.
