Stealing is wrong.. is stealing still wrong if no one misses the item stolen..... of course it is..... you are your own moral berometer..... not others.....

You know better. Stealing is wrong on any level. It doesn't matter if you get caught. Once you do it you can never again look someone in the eye and tell them truthfully, you do not steal.

You trying to get a rise out of people?  If so, you have certainly succeeded.  Your morals are not good if that is how you think.  I couldn't live with myself if I were a thief, I have too much of a conscience that would keep me awake at night.  What happened to yours?  Seriously--do you have an ipod?  Suppose you were in the hospital for a year and couldn't use your ipod and I stole it and wore it out--then put it back, broken.  You never missed it, did I steal it?  Yes.Was it wrong, yes.  There is no gray (grey?) area between honest and dishonest.

but before accusing someone of stealing try looking for it everywhere then ask people then look for clues. and if theres proof then its stealing

No.  People work hard to produce commercial goods when they could make a better living by stealing things from you that "won't be missed."  Just because you don't get caught doesn't mean that act and the acts of others commiting the crime won't affect someone's bottom line.  I'm sure one shoplifter taking a candy bar from a walmart didn't cause them to raise prices to put in video camera security systems...  all that "unmissed" merchandise adds up.  You can say that for any situation, I could have bought a sandwich today when I was hungry, if I had the $2 I dropped that you didn't return.  I don't know you took it, but I'm still hungry.
