Does anyone at yahoo actually respond or check into abuse report?

Question

On the yahoo message boards, there's a few people who use profanity, one guy insulted another poster by claiming he was a child molester.

How long does it take yahoo to respond and will they do something about these people making an X rated forum out of a supposedly G rated subject?

If you report an abuser, they do take the reports serious and respond pretty quickly.  I do think they need more than one person to report abuse though before they will take action.

I don't think Yahoo! looks into it.

My friend created an account to do answers while she was at work and she answered, maybe, 5 questions and asked one.  Then she got an e-mail saying her account was banned.  So, she replied and asked why.  All the e-mail said was ToS agreement was breached.

It was lame.  I saw all of her answers and they did not violate the ToS.

Then, you see other people on here who do it all the time - I guess Yahoo! must have fired their answers dept. 1st.

If one or more reliable users report a TOS violation then the question or answer will be removed automatically, and, according to them, Yahoo employees will also look at every violation report. I suppose the time lag is lack of reports by reliable users and the limitations of the number of Yahoo employees to look at every report.
