Does anyone believe ( apart from fans ) that south sydney can make the top 8?

I really hope they do, they deserve  it.

I am not a fan, but they have been through h**l and I wish them the best, I hope they make it to the Grand Final, if they do I believe they will win!

absolutely...

if you look at their run home they are chance of winning 6/7 out of nine which potentially puts therm in the eight....

they will not be able to continue to come from behind all the time in high scoring games.....so a little tighter in defence / starting games better / continue to improve in attack.....

well done in winning four straight something not achieved for a long time by the club.....

momentum is building....

Nah I think its definitely too late in the season to catch up now.. its already round 18.. but great efforts! I think Craig Wing and John Sutton are their best players and Roy Asotasi.. they would be the only ones good enough to keep the run going if any of them get injured its all over red rover lol

I am a South Sydney supporter & I don't think they can make the top eight, it would be great if they did but if they win their next game against Parramatta they will make my year, just can't stand Parramatta!.

Yes, they really deserve the phrase "the comeback kings" because all their wins this year have been sensational comebacks, obviously Isaac Luke (player on the team) is going to help them get there (apart from their coach) and of course their committed fans who've stuck by them.

Also, i do not support the rabbits but they are an excellent team to watch when on the field.

Am loathe to think about this, but anything is possible, look at the cowboys performance this year, unbelievable, I'm not fussed on the broncos even though I live in brisbane, thought the titans might have a chance but they seem to have lost momentum (thanks to the state of origin each year, its stuffs the rest of the season up) but honestly who knows, at this point anything can happen, the only teams I think will be cellar dwellers this year is cowboys and western bulldogs, but never say never lol! :)

Yes they can. After tonights game, they have showed not only can they come from behind and win, they can also be ahead and win.

I keep saying "I think it's 1955 again" because Halfway through the 1955 season Souths were in equal last place having won just three of nine matches. From that point they didn't lose another game winning 9 season encounters in a row before the finals. Eventually they finished fourth. Had they lost a single one of these games they would have missed the finals.

In the 2nd last match of the season Souths met Manly and were behind 7-4 with moments to go. Clive Churchill had broken his arm early in the game tackling Manly winger George Hugo but refused to leave the field. Souths lock Les Cowie managed to score a try in the corner and Churchill with a broken arm took a sideline conversion attempt that wobbled over the posts and won Souths the game. Churchill would take no further part in Souths' 1955 finals campaign.

AND THEY WON THE PREMIERSHIP.

I don't really reckon they have a chance unless they have a straight winning streak. They didn't start off too good which led to their downfall a bit and now there starting to wake up and win a few matches. But as a Titans supporter, I would say nah but they have a slight chance. Best of luck.

No chance to even make the top 8 you got to be on at least 26 table points at the end of round 26. Its already round 18 and they have to win at least 6 of their last 10 games and they have been winning the last few weeks with only a few points against teams on the Bottom of the table i cant see them beating the good sides on top of the table
