Does anyone believe global warming is NOT happening?

There have been strong argruments saying yes the poles are melting and not the poles are not melting it is just a cycle that naturally happens.

Is global warming really happening?

yes ,obviously  even every living ting except plants adds to global warming as they exhale co2 which increases the surface temperature and also many other man made and natural products too causes the temp. to increase.. So there should not be any question in one's mind that GLOBAL WARMING is happening or not....

EVEN if global warming isn't something caused by humans, is it such a terrible thing to clean up the place we live in? Is it so bad that we make it so in places like LA and Hong Kong people can actually breath in the air around them?

People now a days are so arrogant and self centered. I can't believe that people are arguing against cleaning up the planet.

Like you, I too have trouble when I run two different topics together and try to figure them out. I find it easier to address them separately.

First question: Yes, I think that there is global warming.

Second question: Yes, there are natural cycles. I believe there is also a man-made warming in progress. A natural cycle of warming is just as bad for us as a man made cycle of warming.

DUHHHHHHHH. if not why do u think they keep urging us to stop wasting and whats the use for all the posters and advertisment? i seriously feel that there is global warming. look at the way human take mother earth for granted? cant u feel the increase in the weather temperature?

It does this without any 'pushing' from mankind.

It's just that this particular event is being witnessed by human beings that is the only difference.

The media loves to create a crisis when there is none, the governments love crisis so they control the population, the envirowackos love crisis so they can gloat about 'being right' but they aren't .. so you can either go with lemming mentality or you can listen to the the intelligent  scientists and move on with your life.

When people keep trying to push emotional buttons with vague facts you either run with the crowd or sit back and watch the silliness.. me I prefer comfort to running.

They are melting, but it's not because of humans. It IS a cycle.

The earth has been around for billions of years - a lot longer than human civilization.  Humans only take up a small fraction of the Earth's history.  On top of that, the technology that is supposedly so harmful has only been around for 200 years or so.  The Earth has been through a lot...astroids, ice ages, floods...all kind of stuff, so how is it that we have had such a huge impact?  Global  warming?  Maybe, but maybe the rising temperatures are due to the Sun expanding slowly.  That seems to make sense, considering the fact that one day, the Sun will turn into a red giant, and swallow the Earth completely
