  1. Are you sure aliens arent just floating around out in space using yahoo answers to ask questions like like these to find out how intellegent us humans are?

Aliens.......... I believe the only alien experience i had was when i took a nasty dump after a night at the curry restuarant, what i saw looking at me in the bowl was an alien if ive ever seen one!

  2. I doubt there wouldn't be.

There are so many planets and galaxies, we couldn't be the only life form in space.

  3. There are three types of people.

    1. People who believe aliens are not here on Earth.

2.People who who believe aliens are here on Earth.

    3. People who know for a fact aliens are here on Earth.

I want to thank Michael C. for pointing out the obvious obfuscation in the term "UFO", I for one feel that is intentional, to insure that any discussion of the issue would still be clouded by the vague definition. Flying saucers is a much clearer term, even, and a far more accurate definition, for those encountering that type of alien ship. Let's call them 'non-conventional aerial vehicles'.

I want to commend Tara, and Angel, for describing their actual encounters with aliens, counting myself, this makes three of the dozen respondents who have had first-hand contact. And we are just three of millions of Americans, and millions more worldwide, who have had these encounters.

Yet, this profoundly important news is repressed by government, hidden by the 'media news', kept out of the curriculum, the church, and any other tools of power, influence, and cultural control right up to, and probably including major league baseball.

And the truly ignorant, like faesson, say "people lie, people are mistaken, though I don't know how, people are just wrong..."

LOL Basically, the 'debunker' line comes down to this: "I know everybody is wrong or lying, because I was not even there...!"

  4. I'm definitely NOT insane, because I've been to a doctor, but exhibit no mental illness symptoms.  So what I'm telling you MUST have happened, because I was awake and not dreaming either.

I lived on this big ole 40 acre piece of land in Michigan, and it's fields and woods mostly.  My dog got out once, and I went to go look for him in one of the wooded areas near my house.  I heard some odd sounds, like a mixture between laughing and whimpering.

"Scrappy?" I called.  "Where are you, it's getting dark!"  It was twilight, no sun left really except an aquamarine sort of sky, so no trick of the light here.

Then I heard him bark.  I followed it and found him a few yards away.  I picked him up.  He seemed uninjured, but freaked out, and was trembling.  (Lol, I can pick him up 'cause he's only a little Patterdale terrier).  I looked around, and running away from about another 10 yards from where I was standing, were these EXTREMELY tall, shining silver figures: taller and thinner than any human I'd ever seen.  Probably about 10 feet tall and SO skinny.  They'd had those sorta typical tear drop shaped heads lol:)  But I didn't see their faces.

This sounds like SUCH a cliche story, but I know it's true because I remember EVERYTHING absolutely everything: how I felt, what I said, etc...

I followed these figures to where they'd been running, but I ran endlessly and never found them or caught up with them.  But they'd been as solid as the two legs I stand on.

I walked home on my two legs, feeling so freaked out I was reduced to a trembling puddle of sweat.  I just mumbled I was tired to my parents (I was 16) that I was tired and was going to bed.  I dreamed about it that night and many nights to come.  I cried in my bed every night.

Then, once, I told Mom I thought I was schitzophrenic.  She said, "Why?"  I said, "I've seen things, weird things, and I thought Scrappy did too".  (Scrappy seemed no worse for wear after HIS experience, lucky doggy).  "I heard them run into the woods!"  I seemed so traumatized to her that she really got concerned and took me to our family practitioner.  He said all these symptoms and I had none of them.  So I went home and things gradually got better.

  5. yes, i beleive in the bad stuff of course lol. ur not going to beleive this because i dont even beleive it n i was there!..when i was about 13 i was sleeping over a friends house n we were on opposite sides of the bed which she had pushed against the window n the way i was lying down i was facing it. so it was the middle of the night n all of a sudden outside the window was a greenish light shinning which i thought was a teen's car light since they get them in colors now, but i realized her house isnt  where cars would be like that n i knew i was delerious from being so tired/being woken up so i ignored it. before i knew it (with my eyes shut) i could tell the lights went on n i peeked my eye open cuz i thought my friend turned it on n a second after my one eye open i slammed it shut again from being startled nearly to death from what i saw..there were 2 figures standing on each side of me just staring at me, n putting something in my face like oxygen or something, but i wasnt harmed at all they mustve just been curious. i dont remember much after that but i woke up fine the next morning n til tis day almost 20 i remember it clearly...

  6. How can you not believe in them. I'm not saying that there have been any here on earth but to think that we are alone among millions of planets in millions of galaxies is just ignorance...

  7. As much as I get bored of seeing these UFO and alien questions, I also get tired of pedantic skeptics wheeling out the "A ufo is anything you can't identify" cliche. Obviously, that is literally what a UFO is, but most of the people who say this know full well what the connotation for UFO is.

The term "UFO" came to replace the name "flying saucer" when it became known that not all unidentified aerial vehicles were saucer shaped. Notice the word "vehicle", skeptics.

Anyway, in answer to the question. Yes, I believe, and no, I haven't seen one.

  8. "believe in" is a religious term. Everyone recognizes the high probability of life on other planets.

  9. there is alien life in the universe it is only a matter of time until mankind will come into contact with it, a few days ago i have seen a picture taken by the hubble space telescope and in that picture there was some 12.000 galaxies, you know that a galaxy has several billion stars...so it would be a dumb thing to say that we are alone in the universe. i personally never saw an alien and more likely i never will see one in my life time, maybe our descendants will be the lucky ones to make first contact with an alien civilization.

  10. As a kid, I used to make fake UFO pictures in my basement, then take them into school and show all my friends. I never told anyone they were fake.

It was fun getting all that attention!!!  Does that tell you anything???

  11. how can you not believe in UFOs?  they are the things we see that we can't explain.

aliens on the other hand are hogwash.  People  lie, people are mistaken (though how I have no idea),  ((wait a min... i remember some high school kids that painted themselves blue and ran around farms with christmas lights blinking all over themselves... yeah, I'd believe THAT was an alien)),  people are just wrong.

That said, I have seen two UFOs.  Both are explainable... but we just don't know for sure... they might have been Romulans!
