Does anyone believe in visions ? And if so,what does seeing a purple halo around someone's head mean ?

My aunt had a vision of my mother with a purple halo around her head and we are wondering what it meant.Does anyone have any suggestions on this ?

Your mother must have passed right?  Purple means royalty. I think your mother strongly believed in God.  If I was guessing I would think it was a message to you  that your mother is with God now.

When you have had a vision it obviates BELIEF. Visions are the first cousins of dreams. In other words they are waking dreams. They are as real as the dreams of the night and reveal things that our waking mind normally cannot access.

The purple halo your aunt has seen around your mother's head is the seventh chakra according to Hinduism. It is called the Sahasrara. It means that the wearer of this halo is centred in the HRIT or Spiritual Heart. If not fully there, at least on the way to it.

Some say the place of this chakra is the seat of the soul. Others say that it is the spot where the Divinity enters the body. But it is also the spot where at point of death the soul exits the body of a spiritually advanced person. Those who are not as spiritually mature will leave their body through the eyes.

To put the vision into the briefest and most conservative manner I would say that mother is a saint or that aunt at least sees her that way.
