that you can marry your bf/gf from 8th or 9th grade?

and still be very happy together?..

All types of people get married, only a few actually last and make it work. I dont think it really matters if they went to school together or not.

Sometimes it does work out - but those relationships are few and far between and most of the time they don't work out.

I personally think that kids should take time to be kids. To date and get to know about relationships before they get so serious. There is plenty of time to have grown up relationships.

But, you never know.

My BF from the 9th grade has 6 kids now - I am VERY glad i did not marry him. LOL

There are people who have married their grade school or high school sweetheart and been very happy. If its meant to be, it will.

Um, well...if you are meant to be with each other and are the love of each other's lives, then of course you can be happy, no matter what stage of your lives you meet.  Destiny is destiny.  I, on the other hand, married my high school "sweetheart" much to my detriment only because I was afraid I deserved no better and we had been together so long.  I was afraid of change.  We married when I was 19 and he was 21, and divorced 5 years later.  Alot of people do the same thing.  Just be sure they really are the one, and not just because he was your first serious boyfriend.  Every person has different experiences, though, and mine is just mine.  ; =)

It's possible. But some people will say it isn't because you aren't done developing at that, age and you still have to really discover who you are as a person and what you want in a lover.

Sure, why not? My sister married her bf from 9th grade and they're still married and happy after 35 years!

I met my husband at 14 and married him at 24. I still love his butt! Our marriage is kind of shaky, but yet we have a bond I just can't explain. My mother and father met in elementary and was close friends. They were married for 34 years.
