  1. I believe that this season has great potential. There are new riders, new bikes and riders on new bikes. It should bring out some very interesting results.

  2. Hey wikky

Like a lot of the above I also wish it had gone to the wire, but will it be interesting? ARE YOU NUTS!! Of course it will - the Yami's are on fire this season and when the tech twa boys get the pneumatic valve engines it's gonna be mad up the front.

The factory Honda team is always gonna be there (or thereabouts) and as for Dovi - on the most beauuuuuuuutiful bike in the paddock this year (don't you think the silver looks fantastic?) well, he really seems to like the 800's and they like him too.

Even were Stoner to run away with it again this year (which I don't believe he will) there is too much going on in the paddock and the chasing pack for it ever to be dull - I mean this is NOT F1 fer chrissake!

Good question though - and one a lot of people must have been thinking!

  3. I just really hope that Casey doesnt run away with it. As long as the championship is close, i dont care who wins though. Lets hope it goes down to the last race.

  4. The winter testing says it is going to be interesting. the racing conditions of the night time will not be repeated this season. saying that it did look as if Stoner waited to see what everyone had got before deciding to assert his authority over them all. I must admit I'm surprised that Lorenzo got as close to him as he did. also surprised that Rossi could not get closer. same power as Lorenzo and on the same tyres as Stoner. something is not quite right with my maths on that one. But I think Dovi kept a cool head and decided to take the points rather than trying to get a podium. his lap times during the race were just as quick as Stoners.

    So... to answer your question

I think its going to be very interesting and I'm not going to miss a second of it.

  5. Yeah, i must admit to feeling deflated rather than elated after watching Stoner wipe the floor with the rest of the pack.

The qualifying  on Saturday was  a tad more exciting than Sundays race, i was on the edge of my seat in the last 10Min's (Toseland/ Lorenzo) thinking,  this is going to make for some fantastic racing. How wrong i was.

You know sometimes you get that feeling of de ja vu.................

Toseland and lorenzo were fantastic, Melandri was disappointing and Rossi........well i dunno what to say! Pedrosa did exceed my expectations, he had a fantastic ride

considering he wasn't entirely happy about racing at night and considering he is still got that injured hand.

Got nothing else to say on it really, i'm seriously deflated......

    COME ON ROSSI>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  6. I was just thinking about posting a question like this one :)

I waited for so long motogp to start and honestly, I was a bit disappointed. It was all fun in the beginning but in the end it got somehow.... dull. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I want only Rossi to win and that he is the reason for which I am unhappy with the end of the race.. It's more like the fact that there was no action in the first 3 spots. The most interesting thing of the whole race was the battle between Rossi and Dovi! Come on! This wasn't the normal result I expected. Stoner flying in front of everyone and Pedrosa and Lorenzo not even being close to getting him....

I honestly want battles between riders, I don't want to know the result before the race starts. But I guess it's not Ducati's fault for being really good....

  7. Hmm....

I want to believe that it will be,nobody gets excited when it's one and the same rider winning consecutively all the races(like at the end of last season, not counting Valencia).yeah,we must admit that Ducati have done a great job and they have an excellent rider on board but I think that 2008 won't be all plain sailing for him.In fact Lorenzo won the qualifications and despite him not doing that dood in the race I think that he's a potential threat for Casey's second title. And not to forget Rossi.Well,he didn't do great in the last GP but he seems very determined and poitive about 2008.As he said in an intrview "It will be very difficult to beat Stoner as he's doing great on his Ducati but it won't be impossible!"

  8. I feel that this MotoGP is going to be one of the best seasons ever.

I'm a massive MotoGP fan and enjoy all 3 of the races.

From a British point of view, with the winter successof Bradley Smith, Danny Webb & Scott reading, the 125's are going to be great.

250's are always amazing to watch as 99 % of the rider turn OFF there brains before riding !

And with my fellow Yorkshire man James 52 Toseland doing really well so far, this year is going to  be a belter. Rossi will fight back, as will the likes of Hayden & Hopkins.

First race is always tricky to judge the season by. There is alot of young new talent in the years MotoGP class, so dont give up on it yet.

  9. Early doors yet, Personally i think it will shape up to be one of the best seasons for years.
