The Glaziers and Hick and Gillette are buisness men and Ferguson is closse to retirement so they would not care. money talks and one year less on ronaldo`s contract. i am a city fan and even i am scared at what may happen with the unlimited buying power. the agents are already buying the plane tickets and i think messi, torres, Villa, Kaka will come to city next year. but not Ronaldo i think i believe him with his boyhood dream and wanting to play for the biggest club in the world. if he goes to city i would have no respect for him. city have always been a decent club liked by most other fans. who do you think will go for the money to city.

Anyone with a massive name really. Arabs love to make a statement, and what better way than to buy up loads of superstars.

I just hope they don't become like Real Madird, buying too many Galacticos and losing team chemistry just cos the owners want big fashionable names.

I really don't think Messi will come to Manchester City. How the h**l would Laporta and Guardiola explain the sale to their supporters? Messi is irreplaceable in Barcelona, only one who I could see replacing him is Kaka. Villa however I could see making the move.

As long as Glazer's ego is stroked, he won't sell. If he does sell, he will ensure that his loans are all paid for and with him laughing all the way to the bank.

As for Hicks and Gillett, they will like sell. They have been found lacking the money the promised. The only way to save Liverpool is to get rid of these muppets.
