No, I just don't vote for lame mystical answers. Let the chips fall where they may. Hard to believe some people actually care about that kind of thing. YA is probably the last place I'd be looking for glory.

I'm not sure what you mean. I usually forget it's there. Once in awhile I go over and vote for a few. Usually there are several that I couldn't possibly give an opinion about ...so I leave those for the ones who know what it's about. I don't just go through clicking any old answer. I think some people just choose the one that has the most thumbs up. It's hard not to choose your own answer if you see your answer in there...esp. if you think it's right and is the best one. I get lots of BAs from Voters..and I can't imagine why . Sometimes they show 4 or 5 voted..sometimes only 1 voted. I don't understand that. That's all I can think of right now. I'm still not sure what exactly you wanted to know.

Not really, I am here more for my own personal enjoyment than anything else.  I'll thumbs up or down answers that I think are good (if it was what I would have said and save the time of typing stuff out), or disagree completely on others, but honestly I just don't care.

I don't try to influence it, but I've seen people write, "Pick me for best answer" or try to give the asker obviously fake compliments.

p.s. pick me for best answer (haha just kidding).

You mean by complaining or otherwise drawing attention to it? No, I don't see the point. A year from now it will probably be all new names and none of the here and now will have mattered. Such is life!

No, my ego isn't so big that I care. I certainly wouldn't use my PSI abilities for such a trivial matter.

Don't mean to sound harsh, I'm just taken aback a little by the questioning.

In the Paranormal / Parapsychology forums I see more people giving a thumbs up response to those in their "cliques."

And a thumbs down to others that don't share the same belief.

It doesn't sway my response either way.

Some people include some great links on a subject matter, and others use the same old links to better support their point of view.
