Everyone knows that any celebrity seen endorsing a product will have been airbrushed to within an inch of reality.............So whats the big deal, is it just another soap box for the colour sensitive to jump on?

  1. Wouldn't it be lovely to have so few responsibilities in life and so little to do with your time that you can sit around and worry and complain about a celebrity and an advertising campaign?

I don't care if they color her purple and give her pink polka dots.

  2. she must have overseen and approved any photo's first. i think l'oreal are getting the blame for something that she has required.

  3. Because beyonce is suppose to be one of the few positive role models for african american girls and girls and general. And it is not the picture that has people upset it goes deeper than that. It's the message behind the picture. Afircan Americans have always had a hard time being accepted in society and their own race with light sking and dark skin controversy and with L'oreal being a cosmetic line look at the message beyonce is sending. Oh the white company only wants me if I am light almost white and have a european nose so let me agree with them to make them happy. She is so stupid. I have lost repsect for her. It was her final say and her decision

    Totally agree with Bored

And if beyonce disagreed with them they would not have let her go. and does the broad need money that bad!!!! She is married to Jay-Z Money isn't everything respect and pride is much more. and for the one talking about lightening the skin for the hair they could have given that chick a darker wig. Beyonce just sucks

  4. Nope. She is one major babe!

  5. I think it's racist. They are implying that fairer skin is more beautiful. When will people remove their heads from their @ss and admit that race is still an issue

  6. Beyonce clearly uses skin lightening products or they used an awful lot of lighting on her to lighten her up.

She must be cheesed about the hassle about it - as she may have to come out and explain her Wacko Jacko skin tone.  If she uses lightening products she wont want to say so as it seems to be frowned upon but loads of blacks and asians use them.

  7. i photoshop beauty images professionally - it is common practice to retouch images especially depending on the product that you are trying to sell (and after all that is the purpose of these pictures - to sell)

if you are selling cosmetics, you would reduce the details of the face (textures etc ...) to accentuate the make up, similarly hair colourings, you want a good tone for the skin to go with the hair colour.

I have often been asked to lighten the skin of a darker skinned model for aesthetic reasons, the company paid her to do a job and if tehy want to alter it - thats is their choice if Beyonce is unhappy she can leave, if people think it is racially insensitive - dont buy the products - i dont think it is  a big deal really

  8. But why should they do it?....They are inciting white skin is best....

Personally i like tanned skin, white"Lard skin" looks so sickly....Especially with those little dimples in them urghh...

lol thats two then who have dimple lard!....

  9. No I don't really care

    sorry :/

    and I'm black

  10. To answer your first question, no I don't care

  11. No, she was clearly alright with it for it to get out at all.

Plus, all they've done is lightened the picture I think.  Shine a lightbulb in anyone's face and they go lighter!

  12. Think personally it is no big deal.

BUT....in todays racial climate a huge company like L`Oreal changing the colour of a black celebrity to one of lighter skin is gonna cause discontent. They are saying white is the market they are aiming at!

  13. Nude Beyonce photos here !

    http://www.funare.us/beyonce

  14. OMG I was jsut about toa sk that very same question!!!!

Its pathetic to amek such a huge deal out of it.......

  15. do not care.and why did beyonces.not say anything when they were doing it.was it the big pay cheque?

  16. Slow news day....nothing better to report.

  17. I dont care personally, although Loreal should be in trouble if they have because it is racist of them to imply that white people look better and thats wrong.

  18. As far as I know L'Oreal still tests on animals. So I avoid all their products.

  19. I think filya p**a has got the right idea - it is implying that whiter skin is better or more attractive than dark skin, and that is quite an unpleasant assumption to make.
