Yes. I feel that Obama has lied calling himself a black man just to get ahead politically. The first Mulatto president does not soud as romantic as the first black president.

Excuse me but, everyones blood is swished around. Everyone is mixed with something somewhere if they take a look at their family tree. No one can attest to being purely african, white, or whatever your race of choice may be.

But back to the question at hand, I can care less that he is half white, it wouldn't matter to me if he were magenta, I'd still vote for him. History will note him as a black president, because if you have a drop of african blood in you, then you are considered black.

Uh you would find it hard to find any country that has people seen as one ethnicity that hasnt got another ethnicity mixed in along the way.

I'm Australian, however my father was half french half english, and my mother is half english and if you broke it down further they probably had decendents from all over Europe.

Firstly I think you're really nit picking and you would be better using your time educating yourself or at least reading a  book.



Secondly - I think Americans like most people title and label everything out of fear as a label creates boundries and social expectations and makes everyone more comfortable.

However, Americans would call him black, because he has brown skin.  I think with all the Xenophobic BS 'White' Americans have put all other ethnicities through it's more the point of a non white president.
