Does anyone come from halifax west yorks? is it a good place to live?

I live close to it, and also go there a lot. Nice town centre, Costa coffee and cafe Nero shops, W H Smiths, Boots, Woolworths etc. Good Hospital, swimming pool, 10 pin bowling.

There are rough areas and good areas as far as housing is concerned though.

i live in leeds west yorkshire and go to halifax quite a lot its a nice place depends what sort of city you want to live in really

I HAVE visited and the folks are nice and polite, and the place is clean.
