If so- do you find the commute tiresome, how long does it take you approximately and would you say it is feasible on a long term basis?

  1. The journey to London Victoria takes 90 minutes; you should get a seat alright boarding at Whitstable in the morning. Returning in the evening rush hour it will be a bit more of a struggle at least until people start getting off at Bromley South and other places. The best plan is to try and board the train about 10 minutes before departure time and choose a carriage as far from the ticket barrier as possible.

  2. oh I've done that journey on more than one occasion and it is crazy - the amount of people on that train is mad.

It takes approx 2 hours  - i would certainly look at alternative arrangements unless you are travelling before or after Rush hour.

  3. I takes an hour and a half. Yep it tires me out if i don't get a seat, but i usually do.

However i prefer it to car or bus travel, so yes it is usefull for me and i recommend for you to use it. It should take less time but it stops at faversham fo ten minutes so it can connect to some other train.
