  1. I cook Moroccan food in a regular clay tagine but serve the food in a decorative tagine. I picked up a beautiful decorative one for $25 yrs back at a great sale. There are much better and cheaper ones than Le Creuset and not so ridiculously heavy:

  2. A tajine is a great cooking tool, but food prepared in one that cost you $15 will taste exactly the same as food prepared in one that cost you $75!

  3. If you have never cooked with a tajine, I would first purchase a cheaper more original version made of clay. It is incredibly simple to cook with and the result is delicious. I have no regrets of purchasing one.

  4. Well worth it.

No Moroccan main course is complete without it being cooked in a tajine.

    Kia ora from NZ.
