The guy is the biggest hipocrite. He wants everybody to cut down on their energy use and he's up in his big mansion burning all kinds of fuel and using up all the resources known to man. Anyone else agree?

  1. No fan here of Al Gore. He's only trying to keep his pockets lined without getting a real job.

  2. If Al Gore had just kept quiet about that stuff, he would have been elected president in 2000 even with the various screwups and shenanigans.  That would have given him the most publicity a politician can have.

So no, I don't think so.  He's actually honest.

  3. Sweetie, even your own party has abandoned you in favor of reality. I seriously doubt you are a captain of industry type, since you are against science, but if you are, I would suggest joining the REST of the world and investing in green energy, before your company goes bankrupt holding onto old technology.

Please tell me YOU know better than the Supreme Court, NASA, and independant scientists around the world.

And Al Gore has committed loads of money to green energy, and does more than you and I do in his personal dealings to care for the environment.

    Shame on you.

  4. He flies a gas guzzling jet. Al Gore is a BORE! He is a hypocrite.

  5. No his goal was to get rich off of idiots who would follow him and ultimately to get a one world govt and to instil socialism and UN control of the world economy.

GORE IS AN IDIOT and I am sorry to say he is from my home state.

  6. I think that he is doing a good thing by talking about it because people do listen to him but he is an extreme hypocrite. i mean even in An Inconvenient Truth he is riding in a personal jet around the world. he should do something about it if he is going to say we need to fight it

  7. I think we need to realize the problem is serious and forget about the messenger, whether you like him or don't.  Global warming is changing just about everything about our planet.  Maybe consider studying some of the scientific evidence before you get distracted by whether or not the messenger is perfect.

  8. I wonder why all the people who disagree about warming are always ranting about Gore and giving him so much publicity.   Not many other people really care about him.

  9. Partly, it's for personal publicity.  However, I think he continues to champion this fake cause because his ego was so irrevocably damaged by losing the Presidency.   He needs to throw himself headfirst into some cause he can champion in order not to give into despair.

Think about it.  He went from being practically President of the United States of America to a punch line in a joke in a matter of a couple months.  He gained at least 50 pounds as a result of this battering of his damaged psyche.

He needs to feel important, so he's created this cause that (very cleverly) can never end because he's changed the name to "climate change", which encompasses absolutely everything.  Hence, he can never be proven wrong by labeling something as climate change.

Yeah, Gore is a huge hyprocrite, but a good businessman.  Remember, he owns the company to which you and I are supposed to buy those carbon credits.  So, if you hear he personally bought carbon credits... big deal !  It's like he's paying himself.

By the way, don't let these GW fanatics try to convince you that GW is real.  Every new study that comes out now more fully debunks the theory.  If you watch the following video, you'll realize it's all one massive hoax.

  10. No.   I don't agree.  Are you living in the forest with no electricity?  Almost none of us are going to do that, but that would be the ultimate solution for the environment.  Nobody has officially decided what lines we need to draw in order to save the earth.

  11. He also created a company to buy and sell carbon credits . Say profits ?

  12. Personally I have no opinion on Gore one way or the other, while his documentary did lift the profile of global warming, if you have an active interest in science topics, it was a well known issue well before Gore appeared.

Is he a self serving politician; probably

Is he making money on this; probably

Was his house using more power than 20 others; probably

Do any of these point affect GW even slightly; NO

And frankly, attacking him shows the weakness of the anti global warming movement argument, if they think an attack on him in anyway affects the science.

The whole anti movement seems to be ridiculous theories about Mars, Pluto, the Sun warming (when there no evidence at all that it is) or even (as seen here recently) complete fiction about most scientists not believing GW was happening, even a rabid anti GW’er can’t really believe that one.

  13. Yes, in the past, I have nominated Al Gore as the biggest hypocite of the century.

But we must remember, he buys carbon offsets (from his own company), and updated his house to be "green". Of course the home renovations were about 10 years to late, and were only done after it came out that he uses more energy in a month than most people use in a year.

  14. I don't think so. He started talking about it since it was not a popular issue yet. So if he wanted publicity, he could have chosen a more popular theme.

For those who don't believe in global warming, just take a look at those pictures showing the vanishing glacier and snow, then you will realize how late we are now.

  15. It's not for publicity. it is for monetary gain.

He's making millions off the global warming hoax.

  16. Of course he is a lib r****d with r****d lib ideas, he gets rich because other lib retards listen to his b.s.

  17. You are so right Thor.  The reason for that is the censorship and suppression of news in the USA is so extreme that at least half of these people heard about AGW for the first time from Gore's movie.  Any American who wants to dispute that should first buy a short wave radio and find out what's really going on in the world.  The other factor is that in the 1960's the USA was 5th in education among developed countries.  Today we are 26th out of 29.  When a person goes to these Internet sites set up for the discussion of Global Warming, they end up debating third grade science with the trenchcoat mafia.
