I mean if you think about there is usually a flaw in the other ones and when it comes to the bible, it (the bible) can back itself up.

  1. The 'bible' is a compendium of bronze-age myths and legends penned by a bunch of ignorant goat-herding tribesmen. Talking snakes? World-wide flood? The sun stopped so Joshua could take Jericho? Jonah and the big fish? What utter tripe.

  2. Why exclude Christianity?  There are many other religions that are much older and have just as much validity as Christianity.  When one ask a question they should not exclude a catagory just because they happen to believe in it.

  3. answer: No, the bible can not back itself up except through circular logic.  Using a few real locations and a few real historical people doesn't make the entire bible true - it makes it historical fiction.

Which bible? Why does the NT contradict the teachings in the Tanakh (hint, its what the Christians mistranslated into the OT)?

answer: every other religion is just as viable and provable as Christianity (well, except maybe Scientology)

  4. Are you freaking serious!? Do you know how many inconsistancies the Bible has? Please, do yourself a favour and read. No one should sound this stupid.

  5. Who agrees that RELIGION is a false prophet, and that we should tread our own path always?

I mean, the person who asked this question thinks that a text is its own proof, and can back itself up without any external validation!

  6. Why do you call the TRUTH, "religious bias c**p?"

Because that's what it is, the TRUTH.

    Deist

Jesus never existed and was stolen from Mithra.

  7. No you have to treat the bible like you treat the other religions.

  8. The false prophet would be those who say Jesus, Jesus, and yet ignore his own words. He said: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice." Matt. 12:7. He was quoting Hosea 6:6 which appears to be a condemnation of the idea of sacrifice.

This very wild "mix-up" is explained more completely on my bio.

  9. Yes there are lots of false religions out there and just about all them were started by false prophets.

  10. You and people like you are the reason why humans can't get along. Why don't you try some respect?

And please, there are many flaws with christianity.

    For example:

    1) You say God re-incarnated as Jesus...

How come Christians don't believe in re-incarnation?

  11. Absolutely no question! The other religions in the world are basically put out there by the devil to mislead people away from the true and absolute word of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us!

  12. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:16-20)

Other areas of interest are: John 15:8, "By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples." Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15)

Did Jesus endure crucifixion for salvation or for Multi Level Marketing?

  13. Religion has always served two purposes.  One to provide for a moral foundation for society to live by.  Some times this foundation included human or animal sacrifices.  The second was to answer questions on the nature of the world, like lightning.  In both cases people, not god(s), made up the stories for people to believe in.  The main problem with the big three is whose person was a prophet and who was actually the son of god.  If the stories are good who cares.

  14. As a Christian you would have to believe that Christ is the only way.

    tGod bless

  15. I agree with you 100%.

  16. The bible is right because it says it is right. Who doesn't agree with that? Makes perfect sense. Excuse me while I go shove a pencil up my nose.

  17. I agree but also agree that there are a lot of people that call themselves Christians that are lead by false, well not really prophets but as it teaches false teachers. Matthew 24:11

So no matter what church one goes to, this goes for myself also. I must prove everything I hear because He tells me to as anyone that read His book.

Hope this helps, have a Blessed Day.

  18. How exactly does the bible back itself up?

  19. Does anyone else agree that Christianity may be the false prophet of another religion?

  20. It's hard to tell whether or not you are being serious. Just to be optimistic, I'm going to assume that you are sane and not serious.

  21. What's the flaw of agnosticism?

  22. The bible can back itself up.

    lolz.

    Awesomest Christian quote EVAR.

  23. Who did you expect to answer this question?  A bunch of Christians with your same circular logic.  The bible backs it's self up?  LMAO
