  1. NO! not me, not at all

  2. Im the same, however being shy does mean that not every type of person can talk to you, some people are just too outgoing and enthusiastic when talking to someone, the shy person will not adapt to this and think the person is insulting to them.

Basically only certain types of people are going to be able to talk to you properly.

  3. omg that totally defines me!!!!! spot on! i totally agree! thats what i was looking for to decribe myself!

  4. Although I am not a shy person I absolutely agree with you. Just because you are shy doesn't mean that you are anti-social in any way. Being an anti-social person means that you don't like being social and that you are scared of social situations. Basically it means that your pretty much a "people hater". Being shy just means that you are more reserved than most people. Hope this helps.

  5. wow i deffinately agree with this

im very shy and usually wont talk to ppl myself cuz i just dont like other ppl unless i know them but if they talk to me then ill at least be nice and hold a steady conversation with them

  6. Well, I think there is a difference between being shy and anti-social. I am shy in certain situations (like being around family) but under normal circumstances, I am very outgoing and great at introducing myself and making new friends. However, I still think someone can be social and also shy, it might just take time for someone to open up.

But overall no this does not describe me!

  7. I could say that's pretty much me when I'm not feeling my best.  There IS a difference between being shy and anti-social  In my opinion, being shy is more of an involuntary thing which is part of a person's personality whereas being anti-social is voluntary.

  8. It describes me.  I identify with you.

  9. Somewhat.. I'm more like 'I don't care if you talk to me' though.

  10. I agree with it an di am that way.... Though i have lots of friends and familly that i joke around with, it takes me a while to warm up to the unfamiliar. I am social though I mean i will talk to ppl and go out etc but i limit what i say to ppl i dont know well

  11. That's practically how I am.

People don't talk to me that much, and I'm not involved with too much (I still have like 6 really, really close loyal friends =])

But a lot of people who I barely even know come to me for advice.

  12. I agree.  Shy and antisocial are different.  I would say that it often describes me.

  13. No.  I'm anti social not shy.  You cannot talk to me.

I don't care if you want to talk to me, the conversation will end with me saying nothing at all.

  14. Some people may think the term "anti-social" is a little harsh, so saying that they are shy is a little bit easier for them, with less of a negative stigma. On the other hand, if someone truly is shy, perhaps it could lead to being anti-social?

Maybe "you can talk to me" is a way for this person to say "hey, I'm too shy to take the first step, but if your willing to take the first step, I'm here for you"

    Just my interpretation :-)

  15. well i am shy and i have lots of friends so u dont have to be antisocial

  18. Not only does that refer to me, it is my life story!

  19. Yes it sounds like me. I am shy but I do love to go out and be social even if i;m not the best at it.

  20. yes and yes. mos def.

  21. It describes me to..... Im not anti social and a little bit shy.........too

  22. i agree with that everyone is different. im not like that though. im a social butterfly!
