The despair I feel over Britian is that it has moved so liberal, secular, socialist.

It is sad to see what is happening to Britain.  And the government has become dysfunctional.  But there could be hope, the people need to voice their anger and frustration.  Really let the politician have it.

If the US does not change it's path will be just like Britain, France and so on.  Obama's vision.

Something has to be done and quickly! The cost of living is crippling Britain. How much longer can this go on? It's not just gradual increases, it's rapid and daily.

Personally, I'm feeling very uneasy about the situation.

what a load of self pitying moaning prats, wow you had 10 years of steady growth

under this government, the price of your homes shot up

and for once working class people had real collateral.

but people ignore the warnings coming from the Bank of England and the government and over reach them selves spending money they just don't have and the first signs of a world slow down and you turn on the very people that gave you 10 good years.

the problems we have here in the UK are not only here most country's in the world are facing them, but if you are so stupid as to boot out a government that has given you 10 good years and replace it with a party that last gave you mass un-employment, 3.5 million people out of work, 15% interest rates, low wages, then please go ahead, its like turkeys looking forward to Christmas

The Government are doing loads:

They are worrying about the amount of food we waste!

They are worrying about us all being obese!

They are worrying about us buying supermarket 241's

They are worrying about 24 hour licensing

They are worrying about losing all our private information on various DVD's Laptops etc Repeatedly!

They are worrying about how much of a pay rise they can vote themselves without us getting upset, so they keep their pay rise modest and use stupid out dated expense claims for a second home to keep themselves as rich as possible!

They are worrying about us realising how completely out of touch they are with society and we may vote them out of power as fast as possible!

They are doing loads, just nothing useful!

Yes, Britain is getting worse and worse and worse ... All things are getting more expensive (despite what politicians say). The only people who are really looking after themselves are politicians. None of them will ever have to live on the pathetic state pension. They have all made sure of that. Ask any of them. Without exception, they are hypocrites of the worst order. I loathe them all.

Yes I despair of the fact that we have a 2 year wait until we can do something about it. Another 2 years for labour to really s***w things up worse than they are now. For those who can remember back to the `70`s the country was completely bankrupt and the IMF was running the show - not quite there yet - but not far off either.
