Why must you despise Obama? It's OK to totally disagree with his policies... but DESPISE him for them!! Why has America come to a place in its history when people cannot discuss their ideological disagreements without HATING each other? Do you not see the problem that creates? Instead of talking through differing opinions, we have become enemy camps poised for battle over every issue. It's not healthy personally and it's certainly not healthy for a country.

Well, I mean in our generation today we don't have a decent choice of strong candidates. People are easily deceived by politicians, so they don't really know who they're voting for. For me, Obama is a good leader, but not one that I admire. Nevertheless, I would rather have a Democratic president than Republican because we know what it's like to live under that kind of administration.

Yes. Just because he's a great public speaker and appears to be black doesn't mean he's the best candidate for the job. He has zero experience, zero credibility [just look at all the endorsments he's gotten], and zero plans for this country.

I'm a Christian and was taught not to despise people, and since politics governs everything in American life from the quality of the air we breathe to how tax dollars are spent, I started holding an interest in politics as a young child.
