I took my citalopram (40mg) this morning on an empty stomach as i don't eat breakfast - i now feel very sick and like i am about to throw up - is this simply as i haven't eaten?? if this is the case then i would just switch to taking them in the evening, but does anyone else ever feel like this??

  4. Do Not Take ,ON  a Empty Stomach,

Make sure you, have something light, so it has got something to

    work ON.

That is why, you, feel like that.

NEVER   TAKE ANY MEDICATION ON AN  EMPTY

    STOMACH.

YOU, WILL END UP , FEELING EVEN MORE ILL,

    than before.
