Does anyone else feel that jeff hardy should be in cm punks position as world champ?

what i mean is that jeff was favourite to win the money in the bank match at wrestlemania 24 before his suspension and cm punk became world champ by winning that match.

He SHOULD be, but as much as I love Jeff Hardy as a performer, MVP is right, he is self-destructive. He did something stupid in the midst of the biggest push of his career and he is still trying to get back to that point. But he should thank his lucky stars that he isn't working for the Vince McMahon of old who would bury anyone who made his company look bad or compromise the integrity of a story line (ask Lex Luger or if Jeff really wants to know, he can go down a few lockers and ask Triple H, who was buried after the whole "Clique" thing)

i wish he was a world champion but all the pressure might not help him at this point of his carer. i think they will give him a run with a big storyline first and see how he responds to being a major part of the show before giving him a title spot. his fued with mvp will be a good challenge to see if he is ready yet.

i think he might become a major champion at the end of this year or the begining of next year when they realise he can be trusted.

U Couldnt be more right, im so angry with the wwe and kinda jeff for getting suspended ... cm punk is no were near the caliber of jeff or matt for that matter. Jeff has been a gr8 servant for the wwe for 13 years! And is the most exctining superstar in the wwe, punk isnt get much of a crowd reation and jelous of him. The following superstars deserve a major title ahead of Cm (is a) Punk

jeff would have won it cleanly, and they wouldn't have him barely escape his defenses, he would have won cleanly because they would have had faith in him as a champion, something wwe has shown in cm punk yet

Not at all.

CM Punk didn't get caught for using a banned substance. Many people don't agree but Punk 100% deserves to be where he is. He hasn't been a dirty player and cheated to win like some wrestlers. He's fought it out and he's World Champion and each week he keeps winning which shows he deserves it more than anyone else on the Raw roster.

As for Jeff, I'm a big fan of his. Fair enough, he was probably favourite to win MITB, but he ruined his chances, now he's back, sorry for his actions, so now if he worked his way up the ladder again and beat Punk for the title or Triple H however you want to view it, then he would deserve it then cos he's fought his way back. But he don't deserve it more. It was Jeff's choice to ruin his chances so he doesn't deserve to carry such a prestigous title as of yet.

I don't really understand why people want to see Jeff Hardy as World champion. The guy is so small - I just don't see him beating anybody bigger than him. And that's everybody!

This is not to say that I like guys like Batista or John Cena or Big Show - I think those guys are all really boring. I just see Hardy as a good cruiserweight and a passable tag team wrestler.

True, CM Punk is small and he's World Champion but I get kind of a Bret Hart feel with CM Punk. Same for Matt Hardy - I think Matt Hardy's career parallels Bret Hart's very much.

But Jeff?

Nah, keep him down. What happens if he's WWF Champion and fails another drug test? Then they have to fire him, strip the belt, find a storyline reason that he's getting it taken away. It just seems like a risky mess that I'm sure they don't want to deal with.
