Does anyone else find buffets unclean?

alright well i was at a buffet today and 2 little boys were looking at the food and then one of them lets go a huge sneeze right on the food! im certain other people do this too and they probably touch it and everything. im not a germafob but i waited until they bought new everything out and was one of the first to get he food. anyone else have buffet stories or find them unclean?

This is hard to answer because, yes sometimes people will sneeze, cough or touch the food with their hands, however, you can't see what goes on in the kitchen of a regular restuarant. The people working in the kitchen could have colds, sneeze, cough etc. It's just up to each individual where they want to eat. No place is safe from germs. Either take your chances or stay home and cook.

i too find buffets to be unsanitary sometimes. they are generally not the cleanest environments. I mean all of those people using their fingers to pick up food instead of using the tongs provided...ugh!

Now you know that you aren't the only one who feels this way.

Buffets are gross.  No one needs that much food or that many different things on their plate.  Nothing is hot, nothing is cold and nothing tastes great.

If you're at a fancy buffet, people are animals, fighting over crab legs!
