In case you haven't heard, they are pulling an ad that features her wearing a scarf that supposedly shows her support for terrorism because it resembles a controversial head garment.

I'm glad they've discovered chefs are terrorists. That's right....I suppose Emeril is building WMDs. BAM!

  1. It's just asinine like so many other things in this country.  When I saw her scarf, I thought cute scarf--that'd go with a lot of my outfits.  I think too people like to stir things up so we don't pay as much attention to the things that really matter.  I've noticed this trend for about the past 8-10 years.

  2. Yes, it is ridiculous. I honestly don't know all the details, but just the idea seems silly!

  3. Yes, I find most controversy things ridiculous, I think the news show push the controuers to incress there viewerships.

  4. Personally, I'm all for anything that keeps Rachael Ray off the TV.  I used to enjoy watching her on that 40 dollar a day show (even if she is the cheapest tipper I've ever seen), but since she's allowed herself to be done over by Hollywood I find her annoying.  She used to be unique, but now she's just like all the other women in Hollywood.  Too skinny, too much make-up, and trashy designer clothes.  They should have just left her alone.

  5. Ignorance.

and btw that scarf she was wearing is actually for Palestinians not for arabs as a whole, its a symbol for the Palestinian culture when it comes in black and if it is in red then were talking about Jordan there.  It is called "koufeye" and now it is being sold in the US as a new trend!

  6. Beyond ridiculous.

How can this idiot (whose name is not even worth mentioning) even look at a scarf and think it's a symbol of terrorism? And later she says that by pulling the ad, Dunkin Donuts was "conscious of American sentiments".

Try to count in how many ways that just made us Americans look as narrow-minded, xenophobic, heartless a**holes in front of the world.  No wonder there's so many people and countries that are p***ed off at us!

Then again, this is coming from the same person who attempted to justify the imprisonment of thousands of Japanese Americans during WWII.  Quite ironic considering that she's Asian-American.

FYI to the world:  Unlike the small, freakish minority of the general population that "proudly" includes this xenophobic b**ch, the vast majority of Americans are hard-working, open-minded, and respectful people that have opened their doors to people from around the world since the colonial days.  It's just too bad that people like her are the ones grabbing the spotlight, thus making over 299 million people look bad in the process.

To the xenophobic b**ch:  You are an idiot.  How can you take a scarf and put on a violent connotation to it?  Do you really think that a single scarf (based on what is actually a Scottish design) can be proof that someone supports terrorism?  You are a disgrace to the nation and you would best serve America by shutting up that trap of yours.  Or better yet, if you are so determined to do something, quit your "job" as a blogger, enlist in the Army, volunteer for immediate front-line service in Iraq or Afghanistan and go fight against the real enemy.

  7. absolutely!

  8. It's completely ridiculous. It's a scarf, not a  symbol of terrorism. If they are going to get mad at anyone, they should get mad at her stylist.

Next she will get sued because the coffee she was holding in her hand upset someone who just stopped drinking coffee and is attending "Caffiene Anonymous" meetings.
