Does anyone else find this hilariously ironic?

From Camp Rock(keep in mind it's a Disney movie) :

Shane Gray says all of these things:

"Than my usual stupid cookie cutter pop star stuff? Sorry to disappoint."

"I only play the music that the label thinks will sell, that's it"

And more complaining about that.

So, am I the only one who thinks Disney is being hypocritical?
