Isn't it illegal to do so? If so where do you report it?

  1. If your going to pay for an item costing a buck or whatever why even pay with a debit / credit card?

As well as costing the store money you guys p**s off and annoy everyone in line.

Get your bloody cash out, we cant all be waiting for you wasters spending silly small amounts on a card, holding everyone up.

So no, I get irritated by you people. Not the store.

  2. It is not illegal.  No one is required to accept credit or debit cards in the first place, and they can set rules by which they will accept them.  You have the right to not do business there.

Did you know that, in addition to being charged a percentage of the transaction, between 3 - 5%, that the merchant is also charged a per-transaction fee, around 30-35 cents?  For large purchases, this additional charge is very minor, but for purchases under ten dollars, the cut-off point for many merchants, 30 cents amounts to a minimum 3% additional cost.  It's enough to turn small transactions from profitable ones to money losers.

I don't get irritated at all.  I know how hard it is to stay in business when you're small.

  3. h**l yes i get irritated! whatever my payment method is is my business and using a credit cards or debit cards take no longer than exchanging cash in most cases, i want to report their @ss(s) because its flat out wrong!
