Does anyone else get really stressed about work?

If I make a mistake at work, or have decisions to make, or if I snapped at someone or anything I end up feeling stressed all weekend - so much so I can't sleep and think about it all the time. Surely this isn't right? Anyone else have the same thing?

  1. ur too caring abotu wat people think of u and how do they feel........... there is no solution to tht except to not care

  2. JJ, you sound like you think about every body more than your self so you have some BIG problem that no one can help you but your self so

    snap out of it OK?

Start loving your self & you will be helped, so you will help your self.

  3. I am sure lots of people do. You need to relax and shake it off. When it is time to go home leave that stuff behind. Stress is the biggest killer in America. It manifests itself in many ways. Chill.

  4. Yes. Pressure is a part of working and getting ahead, sadly. There are however sites that deal with ways of dealing with the tension. I have always found Transcendental Meditation to be of great value through out my life and I say this from the perspective of not having gone in for a checkup (through meditation centers) for over 30 years. There are many worthwhile techniques out there that really work. It has little if anything to do with religion but more with ancient and wise practices in order to remain calm and aware.

  5. Sometimes I do, but then I try to do other things, like playing some music, just to forget about it.  My grandfather used to tell everybody who said to be stressed:

"If your problems have a solution, why are you worried?; and if your problems don't have a solution, why are you worried?"

Maybe it looks to you like a tongue twister, but when you think about it, he was absolutely right.
