So, he's playing for the Quakes until he's better so my aunt, grandparents and brother went to the quakes Vs Storms game. My aunt is 16 and she was so excited to watch Napoli play. To everyones surprise, All the players jersey was being auctioned off. For my aunts birthday, her parents put up a price for Napoli's jersey and she won, she got to meet Napoli and get his jersey! Then as we lined up to go on the field, a woman that worked at the stadium said "I'm so sorry guys but Napoli left, so you wont get to meet him, but he still signed the jersey but you wont get to meet him" My aunt's face dropped, she always wanted to meet him. So we went on the field and we heard someone say "Napoli's here!" Of course, we were excited. each player went to the person that won their jersey but nobody came to us, except for the same worker that delivered the bad news. She gave us the jersey but had more bad news: "Sorry guys but this isn't the jersey he wore, he was going to wear this one but it was too big." Yes, his siggy was on it but he didn't even wear it!
We paid $340 for a jersey he didn't wear and we never got to meet him, my aunt could have bought a signed jersey on ebay for that price. Napoli was just too 'busy' to take time from his busy schedule (god forbid) and stay one extra inning to meet a fan. What if she were someone with cancer that always wanted to meet him? He probably wanted to get back home as he was too lazy to stay and meet someone. One of the pitchers that were taken off at the 2nd inning stayed to meet the person that bought his jersey. But, we did get to meet PJ Philips who was very nice. He signed my shirt and ball and my aunts jersey. I hope PJ replaces Napoli for the Angels. LOL. Napoli obviously has too much 'class' to meet those class A fans. We didn't even get half of our money back.
Did anyone else have a bad experience with Napoli?
