Have been having sore soles of feet now hurts to walk (I dont drive so I need to be able to walk to places). There is slight swelling but not major, my feet are red on the soles. It does help to put them up but i cant do that all day ! My knees have also starting hurting when i stand up sometimes. Has anyone else had these sort of problems and if so any ideas on how to make my feet better ?Im 38 wks pregnant, but I have had these problems with my feet on and off since early pregnancy . I dont have corns, bunions or anything like that, and am being checked regulary for pre eclampsia.

  1. yes i had swollen feet. i gave birth 5 months ago the swelling reduced days after giving birth but another thing i got was really hard skin on the soles of my feet which is something iv never had before and its only just starting to clear now all these months on. what your experiencing is pretty normal your having regular checks for pre eclamsia so you should be fine its just something that women in late stages of pregnancy have to put up with. most women at your stage of pregnancy just want the whole thing over and done with you just feel like a big balloon that aches everywhere. congratulations

  2. Oh yes! All the time especailly after I get dinner, dishes and everything else done my feet feel like they are crying!

  3. oh my goodness yes!! i had them since earlier in my pregnancy, but now @ 34 weeks the symptoms are ALOT worse and very uncomfortable....

I don't even stand a work very much, but even sitting for long periods of time even swells my feet up so big they look cartoonish-like you could bust em with a stickpen! Elevating them at night helps alot though. Even soaking them might help also..very relieving!

My knees r realing starting to hurt now along with my hips and back...YaaY, the wonderful perks of PREGNANCY!! At least not much longer to go, & you'll have your beautiful result that this was all  worth going through for..

Good luck throughout the rest of your pregnancy and God Bless!!

  4. Yeah, I had aching feet during my wife's pregnancy. The lazy mare just sat around and made me do all the work :)

  5. I agree with the other answer, i've been aching everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Yes I had swelling feet and they were sore when was pregnant its normal, due to weight gains with baby growth.. if it gets alot worse i recommend u to pay a visit to GP

Maybe u can ask someone to do feet massaging its quite nice relaxing, and feet up. But don't use footbath that what i was told not use it while pregnant

  7. EVERYTHING ON MY BODY ACHES ALL MY BONES AND MUSCLES.....lol....and im only 13weeks

  8. My feet are swollen, my ankles are swollen, my back aches, I feel like Im falling apart!!! LOL I also work 10 hour shifts at work where Im walking almost the whole time, and have 2 kids at home to chase!! Its definetly normal!! And especially at the end of your pregnancy!!

  9. Yes I have swollen ankels it looks like my legs are blowing balloons on either side of them ... I also have pain on my soles and you know the heal ... Its all the weight ~ plus If I walk too much my hands get really red and swollen ... I dont know what the connection is but it hurts!!

    another casualty of being pregnant!!

  10. yes i was the same, best thing to do is keep them raised and get your partner to massage them, i got a spray from mothercare that helper cool them down and take away the pain xx

  11. Yes! I thought i was the only one!!! My feet always feel like ive been standing on them allll day. Even if i havnt. Theyre not swollen or anything though. Just sore and red. Im almost 38 wks so im thinking this is just something normal we're experiencing.

  12. yes thats completely normal, try getting yourself some of those gel insoles and i understand your not being able to lie down and rest all the time but the fact is you are pregnant... you need to be resting, i gave birth at 34 weeks and i was in bed for a week as i couldnt move i was just so tired and aching.  try sleeping with a pillow propped under your feet and knees.  also a nice spa foot soak when you have been walking along way. plus there are creams you can use that have pain killing things in them, just make sure they are ok to use in pregnancy.

good luck, and look after yourself.

    Blessed be
