Question:

Does anyone else have bad pregnant nightmares, about losing your baby?

I had the most awful dream last night, that was one of those "all night long dreams". The details are foggy, but I walked into a medical clinic with this tiny little premature baby that I had just given birth to, and they made us wait, and I dropped him off there and he died.

It was the most awful dream ever, and I woke up shaking and scared. And it's already ruined my whole day. It's like, looming over me. And now every little twinge I feel going on in my uterus, I'm afraid its a contraction.

Anyone else having baby nightmares?

  1. aww don't worry hun! ((hugs))

i had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy at 8 weeks and now im 8 weeks again and i keep dreaming i am going to the toilet and all this blood comes out and im misscarrying again,

it is the worst feeling in the world... i woke up in tears and my husband said i had been moaning and crying in my sleep,

im terrified of every little pain and won't have s*x with my husband incase anything happens,

atleast i'm not going mad! it seems common!

good luck and enjoy your pregnancy!! =D

  3. yes!  its scary but its normal....after the baby is born you will still have nightmares....   my little girl is almost 2 and ever since she was born i always have dreams shes falling out of her crib...or got out and is gonna fall down the stairs... or that shes choking.....  it never ends...probably because we have so much love for them!

  4. Yes I have nightmares all the time. Dont worry and dont let it ruin your day. Take care hun.

  5. hi ya,

  6. Pregnancy causes very weird & horrific dreams/nightmares- ive had sum killer ones recently. Very scary- or very enjoyable. I could be holding my baby girl & everyone around me be so excited- or I had one that i was bleeding through my labor- badly. It's your body being over exerted & falling into a deep sleep. Just make sure you get the rest you need at night.

  7. It is common to have these dreams. Much like I used to have dreams about waking up at school naked right before the school year started, lol. They will go away eventually.
