they feel like they are really the only person for them, but it just never seemed to work out the way it was supposed to, and you ended up without them in your life, but you think about them every once in a while and it still makes you a little sad years later? You know you couldn't be with them but you still feel for them.

  1. Yes. My other person now lives in Sydney, I live in Perth.  We went out for a few months about 8 years ago before I left to go travelling.  Since then one or both of us have been in relationships and it was never good timing.  However over the years he has done some things that have made me think that, even if we were both single, it would never work out.  I miss him though.

  2. Yes; I know exactly how that feels. I was dating this guy on and off for 5 years I'm only in college so basically he was my high school sweetheart. He wasn't a good guy, a big user, stuck up, and my family hates him. I still have dreams about him sometimes... he's almost 19 and dating a 15 year old... so glad I'm not her. It was tough to get over but I'm glad I finally did.

  3. Well yeah but I still talk to him. My best friend Zac I dated since I was fourteen and when we first started dating we had a pregnancy scare, and then we broke up, thankfully I wasn't pregnant, we got back together at 19, had a pregnancy scare, almost got married and then we broke up for good. but he is my best guy friend...
