When going to mcdonald's do you ever have any of the employees continually asking is that all after each selection you have made? It's annoying where I live, and all I can think of is that headon commercial that is annoying.

  1. The employees are forced to ask that! It's the rules, made up by some out-of-touch corporate know-it-all. I'm sure the employees don't like it any more than you do. Relax, say, "No, thank you", and enjoy your meal.

  2. yes it is very annoying like shut up and let me give you my order hardees is the same way after each item is that all

  3. that is annoying. i dont like too when you drive up and they ask if you want "special promotion food". i wanna say 'if you shut the f up for a sec, i'd tell you what i want.' they trying to guess..?! lol

  4. Yes, it is annoying, and I have found it at other places, not just Mc D's.  They are programmed to ask that a) to hopefully sell more and b) so that they are not sued for NOT asking it.  Dumb, I know...

  5. I hate the whole concept of upselling in restaurants - i go there to eat what I choose and dont need help generally with that or someone to tell me that I might want an appetiser or bread or dips or whatever. Restaurant owners are turning their wait staff into sales people and it is so off putting it is losing them business not gaining - I wont go to places that really do it heavily.
