Does anyone else have to pee all the time???

Question

I am 9 weeks pregnant and feel the urge to pee all the time. It is not painful and I don't feel any pressure so I doubt it's a UTI. I have been trying to drink a lot more water but probably not enough to make me have to go 3 times in an hour. Has anyone else had the same thing? I'm getting worried because I start substitute teaching tomorrow and I can't just go to the restroom whenever I feel like it.

Yup! I'm 9 weeks also and I have been peeing alot since about week 5. I thought it was weird too since the baby was so small but a nurse explained to me that kidneys are working overtime. It's normal, no worries. Congrats!!!

Every pregnant woman will wee more than normal. If it doesnt hurt when you wee then you wont have a UTI just weeing more because your pregnant.

it is very normal its your kidneys working in overdrive it happens at the start of a pregnancy...then as the baby gets bigger the urge to pee is because the baby squashes the bladder...

Yeah, it is all part of being pregnant. I am 26 weeks and it is only getting worse.. I have to pee more and more. It is the pressure from the baby.

dont even go there. you better get used to it. i was getting up 3-4 times a night to pee! it lasted for me my whole pregnancy. when i was like 5 or 6 months it peaked and i would literally run to the bathroom. lol..memories

OMG Yes!!! I was wondering if anyone else had this problem!!! I'm 18 weeks and have been peeing constantly since about 7 or 8 weeks. It'll feel like I'm about to burst but yet there's hardly anything there.... sometimes it's every 20 minutes, sometimes I can go a couple of hours.

Also, I've been a sub for a few years. Just introduce yourself to the teacher next door and let her know you're pregnant and may need to use the restroom. Then if you have to go, ask her to please keep an eye on your class for a moment. Or in an emergency send a student to a teacher next door with a note. In middle & high schools you can call the office for them to send someone down to watch your class for a couple of minutes.

by now your baby is pushing on your bladder and it is completly normal for you to go pee five times in ten minuts.

as for substitute teaching tomorrow, go to the bathroom whenever you need to by all means. holding in your pee is harmful to you and your baby and will also cause you to get a UTI. so be careful!!!

Yes!  I am 11 weeks pregnant and I have to use the bathroom all of the time too.  It is worse for me at night because I wake up at least 5 times a night to go to the bathroom.  As far as your job, you may not have a choice!  Just pick a child to be put in charge everytime you need to leave and you should be fine!  Good luck!

its normal i pee alot when i get nervous could be that your nervous and excited
