I do,I take MMA,and Here is how it is,4 days a week,1 and a half hours (Dont worry I train at home also) 2 days We get standup and ground a pound from My instructor, (He has done KickBoxing and MuayThai for 25 years) and the Other half we work on Sub-wrestling,BJJ and Judo and sprawling and more Ground and pound. The Warmup at the beginning of Classes is around 30 min,and its intense. Sparing is in a Boxing ring, and we can Kick to the head,Punch, all that good stuff,we spar spar spar, and Learn some more, practise it,bag work than spar spar spar. How is your expirience?

  1. Nope. Too much has changed. You'll get there too, I'm sure. You stay someplace long enough, you begin to notice the cracks in the walls, you know? That's reality.

I have more faith and respect for my organization than my local dojo. You sometimes have to make the best out of what you've got though.

  2. I totally trust my academy to always teach what it believes is the best principals to live by and which techniques are the most useful in any situation.

  3. thats great but ah, was that actually supposed to be a question?

  4. Is this a question?  Not sure what you want answered here....

But do I have faith in my instructor/dojo?  Yes.

My instructor has been doing BJJ for 30 years.  He also holds a black belt in Judo.  He has two stand up coaches, and a wrestling coach working with us as well.

He also just won the world's by beating Hermes Franca 2 weeks ago.

    The instruction is sound.  http://www.socalmartialarts.com/cleber-j...

  5. I like to diversify and train at different gyms.  I personally believe that it is better to get different views on things.  That is why I do groundwork at one gym and striking at another.

  6. Yes. 100% respect and faith in my dojo. I consider mine a one in a million, quite literally. I would agree with you in most situations stslavik, but Shihan is really open minded to bringing in other concepts, and techniques. We go over them and keep what works, and discard what doesn't.

  7. yes i have 100% faith in my dojo because my style is unbeatable. i take drunken monkey ryu gojo death snake fang jitsu gung fu with a little influence from flying squirrels thrown in to even all the rough ends out. i am unbeatable.  i cannot lose with these techniques. my finger tips can pierce flesh easier than a snakes fang. oh and plus i train 20 hours a day and sleep for 4 to recover. my dojo is my home.

  8. i have the utmost respect for my Dojo however they are more of  a karate and kung fu place, muay thai, BJJ and mma are there just to attract people i dont think it gets as much attention as it should
