My Horses. I don't think they really care sometimes but it make me feel better. I think that there is a book about how women feel the need to kiss their animals. Idk if it was animals in general or horses, but i think it was animals.

I love doing that! Maybe not too that wide a range of animals, but I do it to my cat and dog cause theyre the only animals i have  and i love it when they l**k me its sooo adorable

Hugging is beneficial to animals too apparently.

I watch something about a woman that hugged cattle to calm them, it releases a chemical that stroking and patting doesn't that calms and relaxes animals. It has to be a firm hold type hug.

I love to kiss my dogs on the top of their muzzle just in that dip between the eyes, it's really soft and nice. They don't much care for it but they put up with their mummy's eccentric ways ;) like smelling their ears, cleaning their paws and clipping their claws...all strange things.
